A obra de Arte Pública intitulada “Para escutar a cidade”, está localizado no balneário do Estreito, bairro continental da cidade de Florianópolis. Trata-se de uma escultura, executada em aço polido que espelha um texto gravado na pedra, cuja textura se assemelha a uma peça arqueológica, ornamentada pela repetição da frase-título para escutar a cidade, em diversos idiomas, entre os quais: árabe, francês, chinês, italiano, javanês, tailandês, inglês, vietnamita, persa, português, macedônio e, até, uma língua artificial, o esperanto. A própria escultura porta uma luminária em formato de diamante, aludida à preciosidade ditada pela cidade.
TO LISTEN TO THE CITY
The Public Art work entitled “To listen to the city” is located in the Estreito resort, a continental district of Florianópolis. It is a sculpture made of polished steel that mirrors a text engraved in stone, whose texture resembles an archaeological piece, ornamented by the repetition of the title phrase to listen to the city, in several languages, including: Arabic, French, Chinese, Italian, Javanese, Thai, English, Vietnamese, Persian, Portuguese, Macedonian and even an artificial language, Esperanto. The sculpture itself carries a diamond-shaped lamp, alluded to the preciousness dictated by the city.

“शहर को सुनने के लिए” लोक कला का काम, एस्ट्रीटो रिसॉर्ट में स्थित है, जो फ्लोरिअनपोलिस का एक महाद्वीपीय जिला है। यह पॉलिश स्टील से बनी एक मूर्तिकला है, जो पत्थर में उकेरे गए एक पाठ को चित्रित करती है, जिसकी बनावट एक पुरातात्विक टुकड़ा से मिलती-जुलती है, जो शहर को सुनने के लिए शीर्षक वाक्यांश के दोहराव से अलंकृत है, जिसमें अरबी, फ्रेंच, चीनी, इतालवी शामिल हैं: , जावानीस, थाई, अंग्रेजी, वियतनामी, फारसी, पुर्तगाली, मैसेडोनियन और यहां तक कि एक कृत्रिम भाषा, एस्पेरांतो। मूर्तिकला में हीरे के आकार का दीपक होता है, जो शहर द्वारा तय की गई बेशकीमती चीजों से जुड़ा होता है।
